Some Spring Cleaning Tips
Clean out garage.
Inspect the roof/gutter.
Power wash outside of house, including the windows.
Drain all sediment from your hot water heater.
Donate clothes not worn for more than two years.
Wash walls using 1/2 cup ammonia, 1/4 cup white vinegar and 1/4 cup baking soda to 1 gallon of warm water.
Wash inside windows. Vacuum out the tracks.
Vacuum, wash, or dry clean all window coverings.
Wash light fixtures and chandeliers.
Wash all your knickknacks. Vacuum and dust books and shelves.
Vacuum lampshades. Dust and/or Replace lightbulbs.
Thoroughly clean shower, toilet, floor and sink.
Take an inventory of your medicine cabinet and toss expired medicines.
Defrost freezer (if needed) and wash out refrigerator at the same time checking expiration dates.
Clean oven, soak stove rings and drip pans.
Launder blankets and bedding. Turn mattresses.
Move furniture around and vacuum thoroughly. Shampoo carpets.
Have a garage sale or donate what you do not need.
